2. Formulate a hypothesis about how this difference could affect the acquisition of the L2.
3. Propose an experiment that would test whether the difference in language reflects a difference in thought.

본문
1. Choose one difference between English (L1) and another language (L2).

Korean can express various meanings by using lots of verbal forms with suffixes. In the case of English, even though it also has several suffixes such as -ed(past tense in regular form), -ing(progressive form), -ly(adverb), and -tion(to make a noun form), it cannot make difference of their meanings in terms of semantics, but just changes their forms. Therefore, in order to change or add the meaning in a sentence, English needs prepositions, conjunctions as well as modal verbs. But, Korean doesn t need them.
For example let us think of those verbs "eat" in English and 먹다 in Korean.
