1. Introduction
This essay aims to analyze Johnson & Johnson, a world-renowned corporation in medical devices, biologics, consumer health, and pharmaceuticals industry. Previous analysis on Johnson & Johnson comprises merely of its key features and shallow outlook marketing strategies. Summarizing and extending researches that have been done so far on Johnson & Johnson, this essay offers interpretations with three main viewpoints by using various analysis techniques.
Section 2 offers a brief history and a comprehensive understanding of Johnson & Johnson. Starting from section 3, this essay takes mission statement, generic strategy, BCG Analysis, Growth Vector, and SWOT analysis into account. Section 4 consists of STP and 4P analysis, the main marketing strategies of Johnson & Johnson. In section 5, this essay studies on Johnson & Johnson's micro and macro marketing environment. Last but not least, section 6 suggests solutions related to the opportunities and threats analyzed in the essay.

2. Meet Johnson and Johnson
In 1886, brothers Robert Wood, James Wood and Edward Mead Johnson founded Johnson & Johnson in New Brunswick, New Jersey. During the early years, the Johnson brothers led pioneering efforts in: sterile surgical dressings, sterile sutures, first aid, wound care, products for women s health, dental floss and baby products.
